MICHAELS CUISINE was founded In 1992 by Michael Thomson, known as “Chef MT”. The restaurant is located in the Chicotsky’s Center on Upper West 7th in the Monticello neighborhood – only 3 minutes away from Dickies Arena.

“We liked this place so much we had to eat there TWO nights in a row and we are from out of state. I grew up eating lots of steaks as we raise beef. Their peppercrusted fillet is the best I have ever had. The quail we had as apps was just as excellent. We ate at two other steak houses in Ft. Worth and this was the best.”

“I can not believe we have not visited this wonder restaurant. Nestled right in our backyard and never knew about it until recently. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing and the food is absolutely exquisite.
Highly recommend the peppered steak! Also pictured was there crusted halibut and the famous jalapeño shrimp.”

“I cannot believe the score of this place isn't higher. The food was so good. I had kind of a low bar, but was so pleasantly surprised! The portions were big, the atmosphere was cozy, the service was great. My one complaint is it did take awhile to be served, but we did get there right as it opened, so I can forgive that easily. Definitely will come here again next time I am in town!!”
